Waveland, Ind – Mrs. Genella E. Woodcook, 53, died Friday at her residence here. She was a member of the Waveland Christian Church and Montgomery County Business and Professional Women Club. She was employed by the Waveland Branch of Elston Bank & Trust Co. Survivors include the husband, Denzel; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Smith, Lafayette, Ind; two brothers, Arthur Taylor, Mansfield, Ind and Everett Taylor, Montezuma, Ind; three sisters, Mrs. Martha O’Vivian from Ohio; Mrs. Celia Stahl, Danville, Ill and Mrs. Mary Sanders, Clinton, Ind and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, with Rev. Grover DeNeal officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
